MU Closes Weekend Action Hosting Creighton in Play4Kay Pink Game

MILWAUKEE--Fresh off a 33-point victory over Providence on Friday, the Marquette women's basketball team is back in action at the Al McGuire Center, hosting Creighton at 1 p.m. CT.
The game will air locally on FS Wisconsin and will also stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FOX Sports Go. In addition, the matchup will air on multiple regional stations, including FS Detroit (PLUS), FS Midwest (non Grizzlies), FS North (PLUS), FS Ohio, FS Southeast (non Grizzlies, Hawks, Hornets), FS Southwest (non Grizzlies PLUS), FS West, FS Wisconsin (PLUS), MASN 2. Patrick Reed and Kyle Dlablay will have the call.
Sunday marks the Golden Eagles' Play4Kay Pink Game with multiple promotions at the Al. Play4Kay shirts will be available to purchase at the game for $15, with all proceeds benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. In addition, pink pompons will be available for the first 500 at the game. Fans wearing pink can purchase buy-one, get-one tickets at the Al McGuire Center ticket office on Sunday.

Sophomore Isabelle Spingola had a career night on Friday, pouring in 28 points, with seven three-point baskets, just one shy of an MU program record for three-pointers in a single game. Allazia Blockton added 20 points marking the 10th game this season she has recorded 20-or more points and the sixth time this year that the Golden Eagles (15-7, 9-2) have had at least two players reach 20 points.
Marquette owns its best BIG EAST record through 11 games and remains tied for first place in the league with DePaul.
The Bluejays fell to the Blue Demons, 77-67 at DePaul on Friday night. Four Creighton players recorded double digits, led by 14 points from Sydney Lamberty, while four Bluejays average double digits this season behind 15.7 from Audrey Faber. Lamberty is recording 11.4 points per contest and leads the squad in assists (5.4) and rebounds (6.5).
In the first meeting this season Marquette toppled Creighton, 92-77 behind a pair of 20-plus point effort from Amani Wilborn (23) and Blockton (20). The Bluejays own the all-time series, 11-6.
