Marquette is honored for the seventh straight year for its academic performance
For the seventh year in a row, Marquette has earned 18Birdies All-Academic Team recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).Â
Squads with a cumulative 3.0 GPA, including Marquette, earned a spot on the All-Academic Team. The team was also recognized for its NCAA APR performance in April with a multiyear rate (2014-17) of 993 (out of 1,000), third-highest among MU programs.
This was the seventh time in head coach Steve Bailey's eight years that Marquette qualified for the GCAA All-Academic Team.
The Golden Eagles finished second at the BIG EAST Championships in May and sent two at-large selections, Hunter Eichhorn and Matt Murlick, to NCAA Men's Golf Championship regional play.
