Allie Barber Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK-- Marquette University volleyball junior Allie Barber has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the opening week of league action, it was announced on Tuesday.Â
Barber led the BIG EAST with 5.33 kills per set in two matches as the Golden Eagles (10-4, 1-1) went 1-1 in the opening weekend of conference play. The Cedarburg, Wisconsin native had 16 kills in a 3-0 sweep at Providence and matched that performance in a loss at No. 10 Creighton.She combined to hit .338 over the weekend.
Marquette continues BIG EAST play at home and hosts Georgetown on Friday, Sept. 28 and Villanova on Saturday, Sept. 29. Both matches will stream for free at GoMarquette.com
