Free Marquette Madness Tickets Available To All Students

B.o.B concert highlights Homecoming event
All Marquette University students are now able to claim a complimentary ticket to Marquette Madness on Friday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. in the Al McGuire Center.

This year's new format features a concert by six-time Grammy nominee B.o.B, which will be preceded by introductions of the 2018-19 men's and women's basketball teams, a shooting and dunk contest and opportunity for fans in attendance to win numerous prizes.

Attendees will receive food samples as they enter the venue and an exclusive T-shirt as they exit. Lucky fans can also join current Marquette players in shooting contests to win a television, Xbox, iPad, or Bluetooth Speaker courtesy of Meijer.

For a chance to participate in contests or get access near the stage for B.o.B during the concert, be sure to download the MU Rewards App, available by searching "MU Rewards" in the App Store or Google Play.

Student Season Ticket Members have the opportunity to claim "Fast Pass" access to the Northwest entrance (corner of 12th and Wells) by picking up a wristband. Wristband distribution will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 5 with locations at the Alumni Memorial Union and the Al McGuire Center.

Doors to the Al McGuire Center will open at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are non-transferrable. Students will need their Marquette ID to claim the tickets and wristbands necessary for entrance to Madness.

His 2017 album, "Ether," features numerous guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Usher, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, CeeLo Green, Young Dro and more. B.o.B released his farewell album, "Naga," this past July (2018).

2018 Marquette Madness/Open Practice Facts (Oct. 5-6)
- Friday evening's festivities will only include men's and women's team introductions, comments from both head coaches, contests, giveways and prizes, and the B.o.B concert.
- Each team will hold an open practice, which will include a scrimmage, for all Marquette fans on Saturday morning (Oct. 6) at the Al McGuire Center. The men's team will practice at 9:30 a.m. and the women's team will start at 12 p.m.Â
- Free T-shirts will be distributed to all in attendance at Marquette Madness and a limited quantity will be available to those who attend the open practices on Saturday morning, while supplies last.
- Both squads will also be at the Block Party (Saturday, Oct. 6) at Westowne Square by the Alumni Memorial Union for autograph sessions beginning at 3 p.m. (the teams will NOT be available for autographs at the conclusion of Madness or the open practices)
