Hiedeman Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The senior earns her fifth award of the season
NEW YORK-- Marquette University senior Natisha Hiedeman has been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll the league office announced on Monday, picking up her fifth conference honor of the season.Â
Marquette (14-3, 5-0) posted a 2-0 road weekend as Hiedeman averaged 22.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins at Villanova and Georgetown. She's now led Marquette in scoring in six consecutive games and has taken over the conference scoring lead at 17.8 per game on the year, including 23.4 points per game in BIG EAST play.
The Golden Eagles have climbed to No. 14 in the AP Top-25 poll, which is the highest ranking in program history and will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 18 at 11:30 a.m. CT for annual Milwaukee Public Schools' Day.
