The Marquette University Sports Performance staff has gained experience at the collegiate, private, academic and professional levels.

Directed by Coach Todd Smith, the department comprises four assistant coaches alongside numerous trainee sports performance intern coaches. The staff are accredited through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), the leading governing bodies for collegiate strength and conditioning professionals in the United States.
