T-Pain headlines students-only event
The Marquette University men's and women's basketball teams officially tipped off their respective 2019-20 campaigns Friday night at Marquette Madness in the Al McGuire Center.
Marquette students packed the Al as part of the University's Homecoming week festivities.
The night was highlighted by a performance from international recording artist T-Pain and the program also included the debut of the season's intro videos, team introductions and a dunk contest, won by junior Jamal Cain.
Sixth-year head coach Steve Wojciechowski addressed the crowd, as did Megan Duffy, who is in her first year leading the women's team.
