Spingola Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

The junior earns her first weekly award
NEW YORK-- Marquette University junior Isabelle Spingola was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
Spingola was key for Marquette (21-3, 12-0) in victories over Georgetown and Villanova, averaging 13.0 points per game and shooting 8-of-11 from beyond the arc in the two games. The Chicago, Illinois native hit a pair of timely three-pointers for the Golden Eagles helping them to a 59-52 victory over the Hoyas, scoring 12 points in the win.
Marquette takes its undefeated BIG EAST record to the road this weekend for contests at St. John's (Feb. 15) and at Seton Hall (Feb. 17).Â
