Women's soccer opens spring play on Friday

The Golden Eagles will play a full slate of exhibition matches at home this spring
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's soccer team has announced its spring schedule for 2019, which will begin with a matchup against a team of alumnae at 6:30 p.m. Central Time on Friday, February 15 at Valley Fields.
The annual Tournament of Friends is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 in which five teams will face off for a futsal title at the Marquette Gym. The current women's roster will be joined by the Marquette Alumnae and the Marquette women's club team. Adding to the mix, UW-Parkside and UW-Whitewater will also partake.
The Golden Eagles have two weeks off before a second home match against the University of Illinois-Chicago scheduled for Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. The next week, MU will face the University of Iowa on March 30 at 4:30 p.m. Central Time at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles wrap up their spring in April against a pair of Wisconsin schools. MU will host the rival Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m. CT before facing Cardinal Stritch at Bavarian Soccer Complex (Stadium) on April 26 at 3:45 p.m.
