Blockton Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

The senior averaged 15.0 points per game to lead the Golden Eagles last week
NEW YORK-- Marquette University senior Allazia Blockton was selected to the BIG EAST honor roll, the conference office announced on Monday.
The Milwaukee native led Marquette (23-5, 14-2) in a 1-1 week with 15.0 points per game, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as the Golden Eagles clinched the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament and guaranteed at least a share of a second consecutive regular season title. Blockton tallied her first double-double of the season on Sunday with 16 points and 11 boards.
Marquette will wrap the BIG EAST regular season on the road this weekend facing Creighton on Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m. CT followed by Providence on Sunday, March 3 at Noon CT.Â
