The Golden Eagles will face Murray State at 3:30 p.m. CT on Thursday
HARTFORD, Connecticut – Marquette took part in its NCAA tournament open practice and fulfilled its media responsibilities on Wednesday afternoon at the XL Center.

After arriving in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon and checking into the team hotel, the Golden Eagles began Wednesday morning with a closed practice at Loomis Chaffee Prep School. Marquette then arrived at the XL Center for a media availability before its 12:15 p.m. CT open practice.
Marquette's last game at the XL Center came on Feb. 18, 2012, which resulted in a 79-64 victory over UConn as BIG EAST Player of the Year Jae Crowder poured in 29 points and added 12 rebounds for MU.
The fifth-seeded Golden Eagles (24-9) will face Murray State (27-4) at approximately 3:30 p.m. Central time in the NCAA First Round on Thursday, March 21. MU is making its 33rd appearance in the NCAA Championship, which is tied for 12th-most all-time.
