Ehlert has started all 43 games since arriving at Marquette as a sophomore transfer
1. What is your proudest moment as a Marquette lacrosse player?
Jackson Ehlert: My proudest moment at Marquette would have to be starting my first game as a Marquette lacrosse player.

2. What is your most memorable experience with the team?
Ehlert: My most memorable experience with the team was winning the BIG EAST Championship in 2017. Being able to come in my first year and win it with my teammates who treated me as one of their own from the day I stepped on campus means everything to me. I will never forget that feeling when the final horn sounded.

3. What's the best advice one of your coaches at MU has given you?
Ehlert: The best advice I have gotten from a coach is how you do one thing is how you do all.

4. What's the best advice a teammate has given you?
Ehlert: Luke Vassos has taught me how to try and have a positive attitude all the time. It really works!

5. What's the best advice you could offer future Marquette lacrosse players?
Ehlert: My best advice for a future Marquette lacrosse player would be to get the most out of the years you get at Marquette. Buy into everything that this place has to offer and don't forget to be yourself!

6. What has motivated you?
Ehlert: My family, teammates, and coaches motivate me. I try to remember how much they all believe in me and the impact they have had on my life.

7. Most memorable game?
Ehlert: My most memorable game would be Providence in 2018, specifically the last couple minutes of the game. I have never been involved in such an incredible comeback.

8. Do you feel a rivalry developing with any opponents you have played?
Ehlert: Georgetown

9. How do you think you've changed as a player or person over your career at Marquette?Â
Ehlert: I have changed a lot in my time at Marquette. Marquette has made me get out of my comfort zone as a player and a person. Those experiences have given me a confidence that I didn't know I had.

10. What have you learned that you will take with you as you move on from MU?Â
Ehlert: Marquette has given me a foundation on how to act for the rest of my life. This place has showed me what it means to be a good person.

11. What are your post-graduation plans?Â
Ehlert: I have to finish my degree this fall.
