Marquette Selected to NCAA Golf Austin Regional

The Golden Eagles have earned their highest NCAA regional seed in school history
The Marquette University men's golf team will make its fourth NCAA Men's Golf Championship regional appearance playing in the Austin Region, hosted by Texas at UT Golf Club (Par 71, 7,412 yards) May 13-15.

MU is a No. 8 seed out of 14 teams, its highest in program history. The 2019 BIG EAST champions entered postseason play at the No. 43 spot in the Golfstat Team Ranking.

Marquette's last regional appearance was in 2017 in Sammamish, Washington.
The top five teams from each of the six NCAA regional sites, plus the top individual player from a non-advancing team, will play in the NCAA Championships at Blessings G.C. in Fayetteville, Arkansas May 24-29.
Marquette's best regional finish as a team is 11th out of 14 in the 2015 Noblesville, Indiana Regional, while Mike Van Sickle is MU's best individual performer in its NCAA history, finishing 17th at the 2007 Central Regional.
