Golden Eagles Alumni Returns To TBT

Matchups and roster announced for 2019 event
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $2 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – today revealed that Golden Eagles, a Marquette University alumni team, has gained entry into this year's 64 team field.
Golden Eagles is organized by general manager Dan Fitzgerald, who played at Marquette from 2005-2008. Their roster (subject to change and players can be added) includes:
Golden Eagles will be competing in TBT's Wichita Regional at Koch Arena from July 25-28. The region is hosted by AfterShocks (Wichita State alumni) and also features Purple & Black (Kansas State alumni), Self Made (Kansas alumni), Team Colorado (Colorado alumni), Iowa United, Sideline Cancer and Fort Hood Wounded Warriors.
Golden Eagles, who received the top seed in Wichita after a run to the TBT semifinals in 2018, will take on the eighth-seeded Fort Hood Wounded Warriors in their first-round matchup at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, July 26 (game time subject to change) live on WatchESPN. If they were to advance, Golden Eagles would face the winner of Purple & Black and Team Colorado on Saturday, July 27 at 1 p.m. CT on ESPN. The championship game of the Wichita Regional will be held on Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. CT and also can be seen on ESPN. The winner of that game will receive a cash prize equivalent to 25% of ticket sales in the region (currently more than $50,000) and advance to Chicago for Championship Week August 1-6 to compete for $2 million.
