MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's track and field team, under the direction of 13th-year head coach Bert Rogers, has announced 19 new additions ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
"The coaching staff and I are very excited about this year's class," Rogers said. "It's a well-rounded group and will add much needed depth to both teams. There are several newcomers that will make an immediate impact in the BIG EAST."
This year's class of recruits showcases six recruits from Wisconsin and Illinois and two each from Iowa and Minnesota. Washington, Oregon and Toronto, Ontario are also represented. Each event group is represented and features six distance athletes who will compete for the Marquette cross country squad this fall.
All newcomers are able to compete immediately and have four years of eligibility remaining for a squad that combined for 15 All-BIG EAST honorees during indoor and outdoor competitions.
