Marquette Volleyball Releases Promotional Schedule for 2019 Season

MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University volleyball team has officially announced the promotional schedule for this upcoming 2019 season.

The season kicks off with a blue/gold scrimmage on Sunday, Aug. 25th where attendees can meet the squad and get autographs following the event. Throughout the schedule there will be a variety of giveaways for fans that includes Chick-fil-a, Jimmy John's, Marquette gear, and much more.

The 2019 campaign features 14 home matches at the Al McGuire Center, including non-conference matchups against Syracuse, No. 20 Baylor, Green Bay, Saint Louis, and Northern Iowa, who is receiving votes in the AVCA preseason coaches poll. Marquette will also host nine BIG EAST Conference matchups beginning Sept. 25th against Butler. Some promotional highlights include Sunday sundaes (vs. Baylor – Sept. 8), Girl Scout Day (vs. Creighton – Oct. 12), and Senior Night (vs. Villanova – Nov. 16).

To open the season, the team will travel to Provo, Utah where they will face Utah Valley, Boise State, and No. 9 BYU before traveling to Madison to face the fifth-ranked Badgers on September 5th.

The Golden Eagles open up play at home on Saturday, Sept. 7th against Syracuse where there will be a poster giveaway. The match begins at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming year. Season tickets are priced at $40 and single-game tickets are set at $5. The seating is general admission so be sure to purchase them soon to secure your seat.
