WLAX Announces Fall 2019 Schedule

Two home dates are set for Oct. 5 and Oct. 26
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's lacrosse team has announced its 2019 fall schedule, which features two home and three road competitions. Head coach Meredith Black and her team will compete on five dates beginning next weekend.Â
The Golden Eagles begin their fall season next weekend on the road as they travel to Notre Dame to take on the Irish on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 8 a.m. Central time before traveling to Louisville, Kentucky for a "playday" at the University of Louisville on Sept. 29. Along with UofL, MU will take on Vanderbilt and Lindenwood.
Alumni Weekend will take place from Oct. 4-6, with the annual Alumni Game set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at noon at Valley Fields.
MU will hit the road for the final time in the fall on Saturday, Oct. 12 when the team heads to nearby Evanston, Illinois to take on Northwestern. The start time for this matchup is set for 1 p.m. CT.

The fall slate concludes on Oct. 26 when MU hosts its own "playday" on Saturday, Oct. 26 beginning at 8:30 a.m., with matchups against the University of Indianapolis and Concordia St. Paul.
The Golden Eagles will play their eighth season of NCAA competition in 2019-20. Head coach Meredith Black and her staff welcome 13 newcomers to the squad as they enter their ninth year as a program.
