Camryn Taylor Earns Weekly Honor Roll Nod

The sophomore scored a career-best 27 points on Wednesday
NEW YORK - Marquette University sophomore forward Camryn Taylor has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday.

Taylor averaged 15.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles, highlighted by a 27-point, nine-rebound outing against Milwaukee on Wednesday. Her 27-point performance was a career-best for her, topping her previous high of 23 points, which she scored against St. John's last year.

This is her second career weekly honor from the BIG EAST, as she was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Feb. 17, 2020. Taylor also made the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team after averaging 9.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 31 games in 2019-20.

So far in 2020-21, Taylor leads the team in both scoring (15.7 ppg.) and rebounding (8.7 reb.).
