#MUWBB Adds Game at Cincinnati on Thursday

The Golden Eagles game against Prairie View A&M had been cancelled
CINCINNATI – The Marquette University women's basketball team will travel to Cincinnati for a game on Thursday, Dec. 10. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. CT on ESPN+.Â
The Golden Eagles were looking to add a game after MU's previously scheduled tilt against Prairie View A&M on Friday was canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Panthers program. Cincinnati was supposed to play crosstown rival Xavier on Thursday. However, the UC-Xavier contest was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Xavier women's basketball program.Â
MU (2-1) posted an 89-40 home win over Providence on Friday while UC (1-1) is coming off an 81-58 setback at Florida on Saturday.Â
The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series against the Bearcats 23-14. The two teams haven't played since splitting a pair of meetings during the 2012-13 campaign.Â
