Fazio Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The senior earns his first career weekly honor after posting five points at Detroit Mercy
NEW YORK – Marquette University senior Ryan Fazio was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for men's lacrosse after posting a career-high five points in a 18-6 victory over Detroit Mercy on Saturday.
Fazio recorded his first career hat trick along with two assists in a record-setting offensive performance as the Golden Eagles set a new program record with 18 goals. His first score of the day stood as the eventual game winner with just 39 seconds remaining in the first half against the Titans. Fazio, who started on attack to begin the year, made his first start of 2020 in the midfield.
The honor is the first of Fazio's career and is the third weekly honor for a Golden Eagle in 2020, following Connor McClelland (Feb. 10) and Chris Kirschner (Feb. 17).
Marquette (3-1) returns to action on the road at Drexel on Saturday, Feb. 29 at noon Central time.
