Farrell earns status on the PGA Mackenzie Tour

The 2019 BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Year tied for 19th at Q-School on March 3-6
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Florida - Former Marquette University men's golfer Oliver Farrell earned status on the PGA's Mackenzie Tour after tying for 19th place on March 3-6 at the PGA Tour Canada Q-School-USA East 1 qualifier at the El Campeón course at Mission Inn.
Farrell fired a 6-over 294 (75-70-74-75) to tie with Jake Kneen over the four-day tournament in Central Florida. The 2019 BIG EAST Conference Men's Golfer of the Year posted birdies on his final three holes to jump into the top-20.
Farrell became the first MU player to earn four years' worth of all-conference honors, recorded the program's third-lowest single-season scoring average at 71.36 (-0.36 versus par) as a senior, and left with the program's third-lowest scoring average, all-time. The Worcestershire, England native scored at par-or-better in 19 of his 36 rounds in 2019, with 11 rounds in the 60s and finished the year at No. 55 in the Golfstat NCAA Player Ranking.
