Caroline Steller Named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week

She tallied six goals, four ground balls and three assists this week
NEW YORK – Marquette University junior Caroline Steller was named the BIG EAST Attacker of the Week, the conference announced today.
The Havertown, Pa., native scored two goals, dished out one assist and picked up three ground balls in Thursday's game at Arizona State. She followed that up with a career-high four goals against Fresno State on Saturday in an 18-17 win.

Steller leads the team with 26 points (14 goals, 12 assists) in 2020. Just seven games into the season, she's already totaled 10 more assists than she did as a sophomore and needs one more goal to tie her 2019 total.
The weekly honor is the first of Steller's career at MU.
Marquette (4-3) returns to action on Wednesday with a home game against Central Michigan at Valley Fields. The opening draw is set for noon central time.
