Wolf notched an NCAA-best eight triple-doubles this fall
LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Marquette University graduate student Taylor Wolf has been named an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday morning.
Wolf, who was a member of the AVCA All-East Region Team, has earned four all-region accolades in her career and is a first-time All-American.
Wolf led all of NCAA Division I volleyball with eight triple-doubles on the year and was among the BIG EAST's leaders in hitting percentage (ninth, .300), kills (10th, 2.86/set), assists (12th, 5.41/set), service aces (32 total aces), and digs (2.81/set). The graduate student rarely left the court, serving as both a right side hitter and setter in MU's 6-2 offense on her way to BIG EAST Conference Co-Player of the Year honors. She was also a two-time Horizon League Player of the Year during her tenure at Green Bay.Â
She is one of 16 different Golden Eagles to have earned AVCA All-America recognition since the first two MU student-athletes were honored during the 2006 campaign.
