Savannah Rennie named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Rennie hit .481 and averaged 3.22 kills and 1.44 blocks per set in a 3-0 week
NEW YORK - Marquette University graduate student Savannah Rennie was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Rennie earned most valuable player honors while leading the Golden Eagles to a 3-0 weekend with sweeps of UTSA, Wright State and UNI. For the week, the middle blocker hit .481 with an average of 3.22 kills and 1.44 blocks per set.
Rennie notched 10 kills in each of Friday's matches against UTSA and Wright State and added five blocks against UTSA. On Saturday, she notched nine kills and six blocks in the win over UNI.
The Golden Eagles begin conference play on Friday, Sept. 24 at Villanova.
