Hunter Eichhorn named PING All-Midwest Region

Eichhorn is now a five-time all-region selection
NORMAN, Oklahoma – Marquette University redshirt junior Hunter Eichhorn earned the fifth all-region honor of his career when the Golf Coaches Association of America announced its annual Division I PING All-Midwest Region Team.
Eichhorn made his fourth NCAA regional appearance in Columbus, Ohio in May after being named the BIG EAST Men's Golf Player of the Year for the third time in his career.
He is the only player in league history to earn player of the year three times, carded rounds of par-or-better in 26 of 35 rounds this season and set a Marquette record with an 11-under 61 in the final round of the Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 15. His 54-hole score of 203 (-13) in Puerto Rico was also a personal low. The graduate student was an All-BIG EAST First Team selection for the fourth time this spring.
Eichhorn is the only golfer in Marquette history to earn all-region recognition on at least four separate occasions.
