Golf earns BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award

The Golden Eagles posted a team GPA of 3.769
NEW YORK - The Marquette University men's golf team is one of 22 teams recognized by the BIG EAST Conference with 2021-22 Team Academic Excellence Awards for compiling the highest collective grade-point averages in each conference sport.
The winners were chosen based on the 2021-22 grade-point average of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster as of the last contest of the championship segment in each conference-sponsored sport.
The MU men's golf team compiled a 3.769 GPA during the 2021-22 academic year while All-BIG EAST performers Hunter Eichhorn and Max Lyons each garnered perfect 4.0 GPAs in each semester. Connor Brown also earned a 4.0 during the spring semester, while every Golden Eagle earned above a 3.3 GPA in each academic term.
