Kushner earns another BIG EAST Honor Roll nod

NEW YORK – Marquette University libero Sarah Kushner was selected to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Kushner led the Golden Eagles to sweeps of Providence and UConn with an average of 5.83 digs per set, two total service aces and seven assists. The native of Naperville, Illinois tied for a match high with 15 digs in Friday's win over the Friars and had a match-best 20 digs in Saturday's sweep of the Huskies.
The accolade is the third weekly recognition this season for Kushner's defensive play. The former outside hitter also earned honor roll mention on Oct. 9 and was the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week last Monday, Oct. 23.
The Golden Eagles hit the road this week to begin their final four-match road swing of the season. MU faces DePaul on Wednesday evening in Chicago before a Sunday matinee against Creighton at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha.Â
