Jenna Reitsma on BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Marquette University outside hitter Jenna Reitsma was selected to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Reitsma hit a combined .407 with 3.86 kills, 1.43 aces and 2.57 digs per set in a 2-0 week with wins at Georgetown and Villanova. The junior notched a career-high seven service aces in Friday's sweep of the Hoyas and added nine kills on a hitting mark of .353 (9-3-17). Reitsma paced the Golden Eagles to a 3-1 win at Villanova on Saturday night with a match- and season-high 18 kills, alongside three more service aces and 11 digs. She hit .432 (18-2-37) against the Wildcats and added a pair of blocks.

The weekly recognition is the first of the season for Reitsma, who was an All-BIG EAST Team selection as a sophomore in 2022.

The Golden Eagles host their final home matches of the regular season this weekend at the Al McGuire Center against St. John's and Seton Hall. Alumni Weekend features a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the 2013 BIG EAST tournament title on Friday against the Red Storm and a senior recognition prior to Saturday's match for libero Sarah Kushner and middle blocker Anastasija Svetnik.
