Mackenzie Hare Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Sophomore Guard Averaged 20.5 Points in 2-0 Week for MU

NEW YORK- Marquette sophomore Mackenzie Hare has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performances in wins over IUPUI and Saint Peter's.

Hare scored a game-high 22 points in the first road game of the year at IUPUI and followed that up with a 19-point outing against Saint Peter's on Sunday. In both games, Hare was 5-of-7 from three, tying her career-high for threes made in a game. She also had a career-high three steals at IUPUI.

The Naperville, Illinois native was 63.6 percent from the floor during the week, and was 71.4 percent from long range (10-of-14).

This marks Hare's first time appearing on the conference's weekly honor roll. A BIG EAST All-Freshman team member a year ago, Hare was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week January 30, 2023.
