Aubrey Hamilton named to All-BIG EAST Championship Team

Hamilton hit .312 with 19 kills, six digs and three blocks in BIG EAST semis
MILWAUKEE – Outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton from the Marquette University women's volleyball program was named to the 2023 All-BIG EAST Championship Team, it was announced on Saturday afternoon following the league's championship match.
Hamilton hit .312 in the league semifinals against St. John's on Friday afternoon with 19 kills, six digs, three blocks and a service ace.Â
The unanimous All-BIG EAST Team selection led Marquette this season with 402 kills (3.72 per set) on a hitting mark of .275. Hamilton, a native of nearby Hartland, Wisconsin, reached 1,000 career kills earlier this year and was a member of the 2022 league all-tournament team as well.
The Golden Eagles earned a share of their third consecutive BIG EAST regular season title this season and will learn their NCAA tournament fate during Sunday's NCAA Selection Show at 5 p.m. Central time on ESPN.
