Sophomore Guard Shot 83 Percent from Deep in 2-0 Week for MU
NEW YORK – Marquette sophomore Mackenzie Hare has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 18.0 points per game in wins over Memphis and Penn.
Hare had the best shooting week from beyond the arc in her career, shooting 83.3 percent (10-of-12). It was the second week this season she has hit 10 three-pointers over two games.
The Naperville, Illinois native is first in the nation shooting 59.3 percent from deep (32-of-54) and third in 3-pointers per game (4.0)
This marks Hare's second time appearing on the conference's weekly honor roll this season.
