MU adds 11 freshmen for the 2024 campaign
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's lacrosse team has announced the addition of 11 newcomers for the 2023-24 academic year.
"We are so excited about this incoming class," said head coach Meredith Black. "All 11 will have a huge impact on our team's growing success from all positions on the field," Black said.
The group includes student-athletes from seven different states with three coming from Colorado and two each hailing from Illinois and Minnesota. The other four student-athletes join the Golden Eagles from California, Kentucky, Michigan and Virginia.
"All of our newcomers were integral to the success of their high school teams, and we are eager to see them make an impact in the BIG EAST."
Â
In all, the class includes eight attackers/midfielders, two defenders and a goalie.
