Hamilton averaged over four kills per set for the Golden Eagles in four matches

NEW YORK – Marquette University outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, it was announced on Monday afternoon.

The senior recorded her 1,000th career kill in Wednesday's match against No. 1 Wisconsin at Fiserv Forum and averaged 4.14 kills per set over the course of four matches. Hamilton posted 16 kills against both the Badgers and in Saturday's match against Air Force to lead the Golden Eagles.

For the week, she totaled 58 kills, five service aces, eight blocks and 24 digs in 14 sets against UW, Milwaukee, Air Force and No. 7 Oregon.

MU begins BIG EAST Conference play on Friday, Sept. 22 against Villanova and host Georgetown on Saturday evening at the Al McGuire Center.
