Women's Basketball Releases BIG EAST Schedule

Golden Eagles open league play Dec. 13 vs. Creighton
The Marquette University women's basketball team has released its 2023-24 BIG EAST Conference schedule, the league office announced Thursday morning.
Marquette gets an early start on BIG EAST play, hosting Creighton on Dec. 13 prior to the conclusion of non-conference action. After visits to UConn (Dec. 31) and St. John's (Jan. 3), the Golden Eagles play four of their next six outings at the Al McGuire Center.
MU hosts Villanova on National Marquette Day on Feb. 10 on FOX, one of seven national television broadcasts for the team during the league schedule.
In 2023-24, the 11-team league will feature 18 conference outings. In recent years, the teams had played a 20-game, home-and-home slate.
