CLEVELAND, Ohio – Marquette University women's basketball seniors Jordan King and Liza Karlen have been named to the 2024 Women's College All Star Game Watch List, Intersport announced on Thursday.
The 2024 Women's College All Star Game will air on ESPN2 on Saturday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. CT at the Wolstein Center in downtown Cleveland. The full watch list can be found here.
King is the active career scoring leader in the BIG EAST and only player in program history to tally over 1,700 career points and 500 career assists. Karlen has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week three times this season and is the only player in the conference to be named an AP Player of the Week.
Terri Mitchell, recently inducted M Club Hall of Fame member and the winningest coach in Marquette women's basketball history will serve as Game Ambassador. In her role, Mitchell will help finalize player and team rosters and oversee the player experience both on and off the court.
"Having spent my entire career so closely connected to the game of basketball, I'm very excited to join the team at Intersport in bringing the Women's College All-Star Game back to championship weekend," said Mitchell. "This sport continues to grow in popularity, as evidenced by rising fan attendance and increasing television viewership, so to once again have this platform for the best seniors in the game is an important reflection of women's basketball and its upward trajectory."
Final rosters, coaches and more details will be available on the event's website and by following @IntersportHoops on Instagram and X.
