Midfielder Luke Blanc speaks with GoMarquette.com on his three years at MU. He amassed 56 goals and 12 assists through 43 games at Marquette.
1. What is your most memorable experience with the team?
Blanc: BBQ at (Logan) Kreinz's house during junior year.
2. What's the best advice you could offer future Marquette lacrosse players?
Blanc: Watch and listen to what the upperclassmen do, they have experience and have a lot of knowledge. Don't be too young to learn or grow.
3. Most memorable game? Why?
Blanc: Michigan junior year, beautiful Florida and we won.
4. What has motivated you?
Blanc: The guys around me and wanting to win a Big East Championship.
5. How do you think you've changed as a player or person over your career at Marquette?
Blanc: I've matured as a person and have wanted to be a better role model for the guys below me and around me.
6. What is your favorite thing about the city of Milwaukee? Why?
Blanc: It's the best of both worlds with Bradford Beach and the city vibe.
7. What have you learned that you will take with you as you move on from MU?
Blanc: The discipline of long days, doing things the right way, and pushing for a common goal with a group of people.
8. Who is a teammate that has inspired you? Why
Blanc: Will Foster, does things the right way and is a great friend.
