CAYCE, S.C. - The Marquette University men's tennis team fell to St. John's 4-0 in the BIG EAST Tennis Championships Friday afternoon.
The Red Storm opened the match by claiming the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
After doubles play the match was delayed due to rain, the match began again at 2:00 PM CT to finish singles play.
St. John's picked up three straight set victories in singles play to the clinch the win.
