Blake Lori has appeared in every game in his past two years at MU. The midfielder has picked up 11 ground balls. He sits down with GoMarquette.com to reminisce on his time at Marquette.
1. What is your proudest moment as a Marquette lacrosse player?
Lori: Winning the Mario Kart tournament back to back.
2. What is your most memorable experience with the team?
Lori: Celebrating in the locker room after beating Michigan in 2023.
3. What's the best advice you could offer future Marquette lacrosse players?
Lori: Grow deep relationships early. Do not wait dive in.
4. Most memorable game? Why?
Lori: Michigan 2023. Had a big crowd and great weather, combined with the first big win of the season.
5. What has motivated you?
Lori: Wanting to see all the hard work the guys put in finally pay off.
6. How do you think you've changed as a player or person over your career at Marquette?
Lori: I feel like I've become more appreciative of my teammates work ethic and it has driven me to work harder myself.
7. What is your favorite thing about the city of Milwaukee? Why?
Lori: You get the big city experience without having to deal with the huge crowds.
8. What have you learned that you will take with you as you move on from MU?
Lori: Relationships are everything.
9. Who is a teammate that has inspired you? Why?
Lori: Pierce Washburn. He proves that you can be a leader and work hard without having to demand attention.
