Junior attacker scored six goals against Villanova Saturday
NEW YORK – Marquette University women's lacrosse junior attacker Meg Bireley has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll in the last weekly awards of the season, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
Bireley had six goals and one assist on Saturday against Villanova, her second game in a row with six goals.
The junior ended the season with 69 goals, the most in a single season in program history.
Bireley had five conference weekly recogniations during the season, including three attacker of the week awards.
