QUEENS, New York - The Marquette University women's tennis team earns 4-2 victory over St. John's Sunday afternoon in Queens, NY.
Marquette opened the match by claiming the doubles point with a default win at No. 3 and Tiera Jarmond and Emilija Kojcic picking up a 6-3 win at No. 2.
Lara Kaiser picked up the singles win for the Golden Eagles due to a win by default at No. 6.
Sophomore Emma Davis earned a straight-set singles victory for Marquette at No. 2 (6-4, 6-3).
At No. 5, Jarmond rounded out the Blue and Gold's win with a straight-set win (6-4, 7-5).
UP NEXT: Marquette will close out the regular season with a double header vs Xavier (10 a.m.) and Butler (6 p.m.) at Elite Sports Club – River Glen.
