Steiner Named to IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Second Team

Senior midfielder was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year in early May
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University women's lacrosse senior Leigh Steiner was named to the IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Second Team, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Thursday.
Steiner, who was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year, started in all 17 games and totaled 45 goals and 16 assists. The Eden Prairie, Minnesota native finished the season with the sixth-most goals (45) and fourth-most shots (121) in a season in program history.
Steiner is the 10th player in program history to be named to the all-region first or second team.
