WLAX Adds Transfer Devon Ortman to 2025 Roster

Graduate transfer comes to Milwaukee from Colorado College
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University women's lacrosse head coach Meredith Black announced transfer Devon Ortman as the newest member of the program on Wednesday.
Ortman spent the last three seasons as a defender at Colorado College. In three seasons with the Tigers, Ortman started in 56-of-57 games. In 2024, she was named First Team All-WIAC and an IWLCA West All-Region honoree for the second straight season. She was also named an IWLCA Third Team All-American.
The Oakland, California native led the Tigers in draw controls (114) and ground balls (52) this past season while also adding 33 goals and 22 assists.
Ortman had 119 points (66g, 53a), 124 ground balls and 278 draw controls over three seasons at Colorado College. She spent her freshman season at Fresno State and has national experience with Team Germany.
Ortman has one year of eligibility remaining.
