Golden Eagles open campaign August 15 at Colorado
The Marquette University women's soccer team will open the 2024 campaign at Colorado on August 15, first-year head coach Chris Allen announced on Friday morning.

The 2024 campaign features 11 matchups at Valley Fields, including the home opener against Kansas City on August 18. Every regular season match will be played on Thursday night or Sunday afternoon.

After playing three of its four matches on the road to open the year, including a return trip to Colorado (W, 1-0 in 2023), the Golden Eagles will co-host UIC (Aug. 29) and Minnesota (Sept. 1) as part of the Challenge Cup with UW-Milwaukee.

The outing against the Flames begins a run of 6-of-8 contests at Valley Fields, including the BIG EAST Conference lidlifter vs. Creighton on Sept. 29.

The opening round of the league tournament will be played on campus sites, with the semifinals and final taking place at the Maryland Soccer Complex on Nov. 7-10.
