Tyler Kolek, Oso Ighodaro Set For NBA Draft

First round Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT, second round Thursday at 3 p.m. CT
Former Marquette University men's basketball players Tyler Kolek and Oso Ighodaro are hoping to hear their respective names called this week at the 2024 National Basketball Association Draft.
The draft will be conducted on Wednesday, June 26 (first round) at 7 p.m. CT and Thursday, June 27 (second round) at 3 p.m. CT.
A two-time Consensus Second Team All-America selection and BIG EAST Player of the Year as a junior, Kolek concluded his career second all-time at Marquette in assists (697) and led the nation in assists per game (7.7) in 2023-24. Ighodaro earned Second Team All-BIG EAST Conference accolades his final two seasons and was named the BIG EAST Scholar-Athletes of the Year and Academic All-America Second Team last year.
Fourth-year head coach Shaka Smart has had five players selected in the first round, including a pair of lottery picks (Jaxon Hayes and Mohamed Bamba, Texas), and eight former players total compete in the NBA.
