The Golden Eagles will play six of the world’s top-100 international courses
College Links Golf
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's golf team is scheduled to make its second trip to Scotland on Aug. 3-10 and will play seven courses, including six of the world's top 100, in the home of golf.
The trip is planned by College Links Golf and MU was the first college golf team to use the service in 2019.
"Our tour five years ago was such a special experience, we played incredible golf courses and enjoyed a chance to spend time together as a team," MU head coach Steve Bailey said. "We have been looking forward to bringing a new generation of players to Scotland and I'm thrilled that we are making it happen this summer with College Links Golf.
"Our players are going to experience some legendary courses and I'm looking forward to seeing how they adapt to the unique challenges of links golf. Perhaps even more importantly, it's a chance to bond as a team and for our golfers to create some incredible memories of their time with Marquette."
GOLF COURSE ITINERARY:
Saturday, Aug. 3: Cabot Highlands (Castle Stuart) – No. 71 (Golf Magazine), No. 48 international (Golfweek)
Sunday, Aug. 4: Nairn Golf Club

"This time we are revisiting some of the courses the team enjoyed five years ago, but we are also including a couple of new venues – Nairn and Cruden Bay – both of which have a unique charm. It's going to be a great trip."
