WSOC Foreign Tour March 7-15 In Italy

Program on first-ever foreign trip
The Marquette University women's soccer team is conducting a foreign tour March 7-15 in Italy, highlighted by stops in four cities, international competition and more.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for our players, many of whom have never been outside of the United States," head coach Chris Allen said. "The culture of our program focuses on the person, the student and the player and an international trip really puts those values front-and-center, allowing us to provide a transformational experience they will remember for a long time."

The travel party will make stops in Rome, Venice, Florence and Lake Como and sightseeing highlights include:

"It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us and we are extremely grateful," sophomore Capri Oliviero said. "I have family in Italy near Venice, so I am excited to show my teammates the country."

The travel party will include all current players, coaching staff, donors and friends and family members. Trip logistics are coordinated by Dream Team Sports Tours.

- Vatican Museums
- Coliseum
- Venice
- Florence, the Renaissance Capital
- Accademia Gallery
- Como & its beautiful Lake
