2025-26 is first of six-year media agreement with league
The BIG EAST Conference announced its 2025-26 women's basketball television assignments and tipoff times on Thursday morning.
The upcoming season marks the first year of a six-year media agreement, which will span from 2025-26 through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS and truTV). The agreement will provide comprehensive national broadcast, cable, and direct-to-consumer streaming coverage of BIG EAST women's and men's basketball games. ESPN+ will also stream a minimum of 75 women's basketball games.Â

FOX /FS1
TNT Sports

FOX /FS1
- FOX will air four games while FS1 will show 13 games in 2025-26 to mark the fifth straight year BIG EAST women's basketball will be featured on the broadcast network.
- Iowa and UConn will meet on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Barclays Center as part of the Women's Champions Classic. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
- The Huskies are back on FOX on Monday, Jan. 19 as they host Notre Dame at 5 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion, followed by Tennessee at UConn on Sunday, Feb. 1 at noon.
- The women's basketball slate on FS1 kicks-off with Florida State at UConn on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 4:30 p.m.
- Other non-conference games on FS1 include Creighton vs. K-State (12/14; 3:30 p.m.) and DePaul vs. Michigan State (12/14; 5:30 p.m.).
- UConn will host five opponents on FS1 - DePaul (12/7; 1 p.m.), Seton Hall (1/3; Noon), Villanova (1/15; 7 p.m.), Butler (2/7; Noon) and Providence (2/22; Noon).
- UConn-Xavier will meet in Cincinnati on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2:30 p.m. on FS1, while St. John's-Villanova with air on FS1 on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m.
- Marquette has a pair of games on FS1 – on the road against Creighton (2/8; 1 p.m.) and at home versus UConn (2/14; 1 p.m.)                        Â
- Peacock will stream 25 women's games, including all 10 of the conference's women's basketball tournament games.Â
- The 2026 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP will take place from Friday, March 6 to Monday, March 9 at Mohegan Sun.
- UConn will take on Ohio State in a non-conference matchup at PeoplesBank Arena on Sunday Nov. 16 at noon on Peacock.
- Peacock will stream Villanova at Georgetown and Marquette at DePaul on Thursday, Dec. 4, starting at 7 p.m.Â
- Between Dec. 17 and Feb. 26 there are nine games on Peacock (full conference schedule below).
- Providence welcomes UConn on New Years Eve for a 3 p.m. tipoff, streamed on Peacock.
- A Peacock doubleheader will feature Butler-Seton Hall and Providence-Marquette on Sunday, March 1.
TNT Sports
- TNT Sports will feature 15 regular season women's basketball games, including 14 league-play matchups.  TNT will serve as its primary network, along with truTV during the 2025-26 season.
- UConn plays host to Loyola Chicago on Wednesday, Nov. 12 on truTV at 7:30 p.m.
- On Sunday, Dec. 28, UConn and Butler will play on TNT and truTV at 4 p.m. in Hinkle Fieldhouse, followed by Creighton at Georgetown at 6 p.m. on truTV.
- St. John's will travel to take on UConn on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7:30 p.m. on truTV. Creighton at Marquette play the next day on truTV at 8 p.m.
- TruTV is set to televise a BIG EAST doubleheader on Sunday, Jan. 11, beginning with Villanova at Providence, followed by Creighton at UConn.
- Both TNT and truTV will air UConn at Georgetown on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
- Another truTV doubleheader takes place on Sunday, Feb. 1 with Creighton at Seton Hall and Marquette at Georgetown.
- Creighton plays host to Villanova on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. on truTV.
- Thursday, Feb. 26 features Georgetown at UConn and Providence at Creighton on TNT and truTV.
- On the final day of regular season play, St. John's welcomes UConn at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 1 on TNT and truTV.
- This past July, the BIG EAST and ESPN agreed upon a six-year digital media rights agreement, adding hundreds of live BIG EAST events to ESPN's robust college sports portfolio.Â
- For the 2025-26 season, 127 women's basketball games, including 73 conference games will appear on ESPN+.
- As part of the new six-year deal, a minimum of 25 non-conference games annually for BIG EAST men's basketball and 200 Olympic sports events will stream on ESPN+ annually beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.
