WLAX Hosts Louisville Monday in 2025 Home Opener

Golden Eagles coming off season-opening 17-5 win at Central Michigan
The Marquette University women's lacrosse team hosts Louisville on Monday, Feb. 17 at noon CT in its 2025 home opener at the Valley Fields dome. The game will be broadcast on FloCollege with live stats accessible on GoMarquette.com.
Marquette and Louisville have met 11 times with the Cardinals leading the series, 9-2. Louisville is MU's most commonly played non-conference opponent with the two facing each other every season except 2015 since MU's inaugural season in 2013.
The Cardinals are 2-0 on the season including a ranked win over then No. 15 Denver at home, 10-8, on Friday, Feb. 7 in their home opener. Louisville plays at Ohio State on Saturday afternoon before making the trip to Milwaukee.
Marquette is coming off a 17-5 win at Central Michigan in its 2025 season opener on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Meg Bireley had four goals to lead MU. Tess Osburn, Isabelle Casucci and Hanna Bodner all recorded hat tricks. Tessa Boehm and Lauren Grady had one goal and two assists each.Â
Following Monday's game, MU travels to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. CT.
