WLAX Hosts No. 3 Northwestern Friday Night

Golden Eagles and Wildcats first draw is at 5 p.m. CT
The Marquette University women's lacrosse team hosts No. 3 Northwestern on Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. CT at Valley Fields. The game will be broadcast on FloCollege with Peter Ferreri (pxp) and Eric Simon (analyst) on the call.
The Wildcats lead the all-time series 9-0 with the series beginning during the 2014 season. Northwestern has been ranked in every contest.
Marquette is coming off a 16-11 home win against Niagara last Friday, Feb. 28. Meg Bireley had a career-high nine points (6g 3a) and became the third player in program history to have over 200 points for their career.
Lauren Grady had a career-high five points with a hat trick and two assists. Tess Osburn had a career-high six points, tying her career-highs in goals (4) and assists (2). Brynna Nixon earned her third win of the season with 10 saves and tied the program record for career wins with 24.
Following Friday night's game, Marquette travels to Boulder, Colorado to take on the Buffaloes on Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN+.
