Freshman has led MU in first two events this fall
OOLTEWAH, Tennessee – Freshman Mischa Candinas led the Marquette University men's golf team in its second fall event at The Invitational at The Honors Course.
The Geroldswil, Switzerland went 4-over through three rounds (73-73-74—220) to finish tied for 26th overall.
Mason Schmidtke finished in the top 40 shooting a 7-over 223, including a first round 2-under 70, the low round of the tournament for MU.
Ole Miss won the tournament title at 11-under par. Cameron Tankersly of Ole Miss and Josiah Gilbert of Auburn were co-medalists at 6-under.
